Several years ago Priscilla took a watercolor class and became excited about painting again. She enjoys watercolor for the way the colors blend, surprise, and let white of paper shine through for sparkle.

She has done as much painting as possible since then including classes with watercolorists Mel Stabin, Susan Blackwood, Mike Capser, Caroline Buchanan, and Joseph Bohler. In the summer of ‘06 she took a workshop with Jim Wilcox in oil painting and painted plein air in the beautiful Grand Teton mountains. Priscilla continues to be inspired by majestic mountains, colorful western towns, summer flowers, and rocky rivers and seeks to express this link with natural beauty in her artwork.

As a member of the Montana Institute for the Arts - Bozeman Artists since 1999 she greatly enjoys the summer paint-outs and programs during the other months. She is an active in the group and has been on many of the committees, presently doing their monthly newsletter.

She has been a member of both Cooperative galleries in the Emerson Cultural Center and the Carbon County Depot Gallery. She has participated in all six of the MIA- Shows, winning a Merchant Award in 2006 for an oil “Aspen Grove.” At present, Priscilla is having monthly shows at local venues such Lillie’s Garden and the Belgrade Library
