determination to keep entering your work into a national juried
show. These folks have been persistent and have achieved their goal.
Douglas Simms Stenhouse was awarded “Best of Show” at the South Bay
Watercolor Society’s 2003 Annual Member Exhibit. His work will be
exhibited Memorial Day weekend at the
Woodrow

, and 18-19 June at “Weston Farm”, Casanova, VA,
where he will be conducting a watercolor workshop.
Vicky
Campbell auditioned and was given the Contralto Solo in “The Magnificat”
by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, which was performed in
Havre
,
Montana
,
in early December 2003. She was accompanied by The Cascade String Quartet
in the Piano & Pipes Concert.
Signature
member Roberta M. Tiemann of
Colfax

Washington
was awarded signature membership in the Missouri Watercolor Society. Her
painting “Lazy Boys” will be exhibited at the Louisiana Watercolor
Society’s 34th International Exhibition in
New Orleans
. Tiemann’s painting “Day Dreaming” was accepted into the Missouri
Watercolor Society’s 4th annual National Exhibition in
Fulton
,
Missouri
. Starting May 25th, the Society will be exhibiting the entire show on
their website at www.mowsart.com.
Lorraine
Ptacek was accepted and juried in the “Art Centre 2003 Exhibit,”
Elk

into “Later Impressions 2003 Exhibition” at the Renaissance Court in
the
Chicago
Cultural
Center
;
and into “2003 DuPage Theatre Visual & Performing Arts Coalition”
at the National University of Health Sciences Art Show in

Evelyn Ecale Schultz was juried into the Watercolor West and
the National
Watercolor Oklahoma 2003 Exhibitions, and received an Award of Excellence
in the Oklahoma Art Guild exhibit. She received Best of Show at the DuPage
Gallery in
Illinois
and exhibited in the
West Bend
Museum
with the Midwest Watercolor 2003 National Show.
Charlotte Huntley has been accepted in 30 national exhibitions in 2003,
with
five
awards. In 2004 she has been accepted in nine National Exhibitions in
New
York
,
Texas
,
Colorado
,
Washington
,
Missouri
and
California
.
