WINTER 2005-06

We congratulate all the new signature members. We enjoy seeing your glorious work hanging in Watermedia. It is truly inspiring to all who see it.

The board met for a lively meeting in Lincoln , Montana on a sunny Saturday. We are planning on making the switch to digital entries for Watermedia in 2007 as many shows and exhibits are doing. Hopefully it will go smoothly.  We are in the planning stages of developing a scholarship fund for our workshops to help encourage new artists.

In the newsletter you’ll find the information for our Members’ Exhibition in Lewistown. Kris Shaw has made some changes to the event. Change is good. It keeps things interesting. I hope to see you at the Spring Banquet and your work hanging in the Art Center . It’s always a great show at the Lewistown Art Center . You will also find information on the Watermedia event in October. We have tried to keep these two events as simple and clear as possible.

Please contact us if you have any questions. The board members are always happy to visit with you about the events or any other questions you may have. Our contact information is on the back cover as always.

Nancy Harte, our newsletter publisher, is creating a new membership form for your convenience.  I hope you will check off one of the many options to sign up for an opportunity to serve on the board or help with one of our fun events. I know you have something to share in some way with MTWS and we welcome your skills and enthusiasm. I must say that being involved with the board as many years as I have has been a rewarding and educational experience that I will always treasure.

You won’t regret stepping forward.

See you in Lewistown!
