Juror of Selection & Awards: Robbie Laird
Once again, MTW S has a nationally known juror and workshop instructor for Watermedia 2017 in NW Montana.
Robbie Laird is from northern California and has a reputation for “encouraging her students whatever their level of accomplishment, to break through to new levels of freedom and confidence.
Through studio time and individual critiques Robbie guides her students to discover the techniques and design fundamentals that contribute most to making their own paintings stronger while more spontaneous and personal, whether they are doing realistic or abstract painting.”
Robbie’s workshop will be centered on Layered Watermedia Paintings. She comments that whether you love realism or are more excited by the intrigue of abstraction, this workshop is an opportunity to learn ways to create paintings that are more expressive of your own personal voice.
Laird is a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and many more Associations and Societies. You can go to her website to read more about this remarkable artist.
Robbie is a sought after instructor who does her homework. Read more about her on her website: http://www.robbielairdartstudio.com/ .
